Daniela Florescu is a computer scientist, entrepreneur, and database pioneer with decades of experience in NoSQL systems, query languages, AI-powered platforms, and large-scale data processing. She is the Co-Founder and CTO of Fort Alto, where she is building AI-powered digital-physical systems that bridge intelligent software with real-world applications. Previously, Daniela led Oracle’s NoSQL strategy and architecture, founded multiple technology companies, and played a key role in shaping industry standards for XML and JSON data processing. A respected researcher, inventor, and educator, she has published over 100 research papers and contributed significantly to the evolution of modern database technologies and semi-structured data systems.
